We are a small business in Michigan and we live in Michigan.  While we are concerned about our business we are more concerned about America after the campaigning is over and the reality of the current economic issues take full control.

We understand that John McCain and Sarah Palin have many faults (less poise than Barack Obama, possibly more impulsiveness and temper, and much of the other stuff you hear on MSNBC).

While we are still uncommitted and still concerned about John McCain/Sarah Palin's faults, we are more concerned with the facts about Barack Obama's past and present views/associations.

We listened to the FOX news special Sunday evening regarding Barack Obama's ties with ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform) and others.  We need Barack Obama to speak to this information with specifics.  We are not willing to risk the FREEDOM that Americans enjoy even if only 10% is true.

It appears that much is about to surface from FBI investigations, etc. as to how the potential financial melt down of our economy was orchestrated by ACORN and others that would see our government move toward Socialism.  Fox News painted a very real scenario in great detail.  Now it is up to MSNBC or preferably Barack Obama to give the American people specific facts that would prove the Fox News story 100% false.

At a time like this, we all need to become Americans.  Not Republicans or Democrats.  Nor viewers of only Fox or only MSNBC. We are just Americans.  Government will not rescue us if we are not willing to do it ourselves.  We must all listen very closely with unbiased ears to both sides.  Our FREEDOM is just too precious to do otherwise.

We thank both MSNBC and Fox for their coverage.  Now is the time for both sides of the media to give up their talking points and to study the facts.  Show your viewers you are Americans first.

Help the American people in the days remaining before the election to be 100% confident in their decision based on the facts.

I wonder how you can associate the group ACORN with the cause of the financial meltdown. That group is only guilty of submitting false voter registrations at best, which has nothing to do with the financial crisis. Plus, nobody can vote without proper ID, so unless ACORN also has a stash of fake IDs, no harm was done other than unnecessary paperwork.

The financial meltdown was caused by the outrageous price of gasoline. Anyone that has ever taken a basic economics class knows that if you raise the price of gas, everything associated with gas will rise in price and in most cases exponentially. Every business owner is going to raise their prices if their cost goes up, that's just common business sense. Therefore the cost of any and everything that has to be driven to market increased. A gallon of milk is almost $4 now. At the same time that prices accross the board were rising, President Bush allowed companies to compete in the global market by reducing their cost by sending American jobs overseas. Most major companies started laying people off and making the ones that stay go back to base/starting pay with no overtime. So the cost of almost everything is rising and the average persons pay is falling. If a person has to work two to three hours a day just to be able to buy gas to get to work, it won't be long before they stop paying their credit cards and after that their mortgages.

The problem that I have with this mess is that the banks were loaning us our 401K money for the mortgages and charging us interest on it. Now the government is going to give them our tax money to loan to us again and we will still have to pay interest on that too. WOW!

When it comes to the decision of who to choose for president, I think that is up to you, but I want someone that is smart enough to be President to run the country for a change. Not a Daddy's boy, soccer mom or a senior citizen that isn’t smart enough to use a computer. The choice is easy for me.
