I read a "tweet" this week about someone having a bowel movement.
It was just like any other day. I was perusing social networking site Twitter when I came across this clear example of too much information.

It's another Internet media tool, although still young, that offers a unique social connection. I just hope it doesn't become clogged with ads. Society is so overwhelmed with ads that keep users from sharing. Tweet about something worthwhile and people will follow. I'm going to try it. Having worked in the income tax software industry for 20 years and having recently been laid off I decided to try the self-employment thing and develop my own version of income tax software. Mine is a little different though. After discovering that it's relatively easy to add calculations to pdf forms I downloaded most of the commonly used pdf tax forms from IRS.gov. I added tax calculations and posted them to my website. They can be accessed for free. My only reward is from the google ads posted there. We'll see how this business model works. Oh yea, my site is:
http://www.pdftax.com/

Twitter: Looking beyond the stupid stuff

You can automate a lot of your Tweeting, taking RSS feeds from your favourite websites and your own blog and putting them through Twitterfeed. As a blogger myself, I know I have almost become immune to ads and unfortunately unless something really strikes me I am not going to click on ads. I also don’t believe in using Adsense or other pay per click ads as a Tip Jar, by falsely clicking ads to help a fellow blogger out. Google and its advertisers have paid for real clicks, and I do not want to risk myself or the blogger’s whose site I am on from getting banned by Google for fake clicks (there are other ways and more legit ways to help fellow bloggers).

Twitter: Looking beyond the stupid stuff

I have some very humurous small mirrors that have gotten a great reception in my retail store. One for examlpe says "Mirror, mirrror, what the .......?" The sell for 10 24 dollars depending on the size.
