I've been out of work for over a year parly because I refuse to work at wages that can't support a moderate living standard. I can't afford to risk working under the table under an assumed name and someone else's ss number since I can't run accross the boader when the heat hits. Contractors won't hire me since they have a cheap labor pool of undocumented workers they can exploit. No medical or disability insurance. No tax forms to fill out. Dammed if I will buy a house from the SOB's if they won't hire us to help build them.

This country is losing the battle on illegal immigration. It is a wide spread problem through out the country. I live in South Alabama and the problem is hitting most of us where it shoudn't. "Our lively hoods". We are losing our jobs because the illegal's are getting jobs through companies or other people who it seems has no regards toward their own peoples well being. The government needs to step in and start prosecuting these people who are breaking the law. The illegals are coming in this country and under bidding our jobs and doing them for rates that none us can compete with. The people that are going to lose in this situtation are our children.When it gets to where we are sitting at home instead of working because we can not compete with rates they are doing these jobs for the children suffer. This means we can not put food on our tables, pay our mortgages or provide medical coverage for our families. What kind of life can we provide for our families at this rate. NOT A GOOD ONE AT ALL. If the illegals are allowed to continue to get in our country it's only gonna get worse. These people have no desire to become citizens of our country. They are here just to send money back to their homelands. That is money leaving the country that should stay here for OUR economy. Everyone needs to take a stand on this issue and let the government that we are not going to take it anymore. The politicians in this country I feel just dont care, it is not hitting them in the wallets. So I feel they could care less. Come on people , isn"t enough, enough. Let all of our elected officals know where you stand on this issue. We have to stand up for ourselves , no one else is going to stand up for us if we do stand up for ourselves.

Do you think other countries would put up with this? The ones who have had very relaxed border policies are now catching hell for it. I know, I have many family members in Germany and it's screwing up every thing over there because you have floods of people crossing over into the EU without any restraints at all. It causes social unrest, violence and ultimately social and class warfare. But stop and think for a moment...perhaps this is precisely what the powers that be would like. Social, class, race warfare flaring while all the while they are able to better control and divide the population and continue with war and economically under cutting the people.
Also, when all else fails and there are no more jobs available for either citizens of the US or illegals then there's always the military. They will be more than happy to use us and the Mexicans for their never-ending war which profits no one but the military industrial complex. And, if you're not familiar with the "military industrial complex", I very much suggest you do some reading on the subject, because it is that huge entity that is the true enemy of Americans, Mexicans and people the world over.

I want to address the gentleman who said without illegal immigrant labor, we'd need to pay burger flippers at Wendy's 15 dollars per hour and thus have more expensive food prices. This is just plain false. In-N-Out burger is a large chain in the west that pays its workers a STARTING wage of $11/hr. This chain is wildly successfully and has NOTHING priced over 3 dollars on its menu. Their managers earn an AVERAGE of over 80k per year. They also offer all employees reasonably priced health care benefits. No, they do not hire illegal immigrants. They don't have to. If you offer competitive wages and a quality product, everyone wins.

The problem with companies that hire illegal aliens is that they use the cheap labor to compensate for poor management practices, and for paying outsize compensation to their senior executives.

The logical answer to the problem of illegal immigrants is to make certain that severe punishment is meted out to the immigrant lawbreaker AND the company that hires them. The penalties must be so swift and certain that no rational person would take the risk. As to those illegal immigrants already in the country; they should be deported at once. Those who say massive deportation is "impossible" are ignoring the fact that this country has proven time and again that it can do anything that it puts its mind to do. Yes, some "innocent persons" would be harmed in the process. But let's not ignore the fact that we already tolerate considerable "collateral damage" to innocent persons who are routinely tried and convicted for crimes they did not commit because they lack the financial resources to mount a proper defense.

An organized, properly funded, deportation effort would generate far greater benefits to American society than the current "don't ask don't tell" policy largely in effect today. The labor marketplace would quickly adjust, and the social and economic burden of this vast population of lawbreakers would be an unpleasant memory.

Finally, to those who say "this is a country made great by immigrants" I would posit that you have lost sight of the fact that times and circumstances have changed greatly in the last 40 years. This is no longer the 1940's and 50's. We are not dealing with the massive loss of life resulting from major military combat. Quite the opposite, the costs associated with the massive influx of illegal immigrants now greatly outstrip the benefits of their cheap labor. Medical care alone can run into the billions of dollars. And the unwillingness of Hispanic immigrants to assimilate into American culture breeds the kind of cultural resentment that many mistake for racism but which is really the result of an alien culture disrupting or destroying the prior established culture. The indigenous population quite rightly resents the appearance of residents who cannot communicate and refuse to honor the local cultural traditions. Practices such as multiple families living in single family dwellings further disrupt community standards.

It's time for the body politic of this country to accept the fact that the majority of the population do not want illegal immigrants in their communities. That Americans want to preserve the resources and culture of our nation as they are. Those who wish to escape the poverty and corruption of their home country need to stand up and make their own nation a "land of opportunity."

I know my family history and it goes back to a scotch irish indentured slave, who worked hard and made this country his. He was a true immigrant, he came legally. I don't have any answers, but I'll say this. We working class Americans don't have much, but we have our love for our country. We have given up to the "corporatization" of our nation. We will be servants to the CEO's while they play us like pawns, because they can. We get what we put up with. My son is almost 18 and I can't pay for college, so they're recruiting him to fight for the corporate machine, while hispanics come in and take the workers jobs. I've worked in houskeeping, in restaurants, in customer service to feed my kids..what jobs will they be able to do if they can't those. I am currently working for an employer that mostly employs immigrants and I can tell you first hand that something needs to be done. People think that immigrants hold jobs that "lazy americans" don't want, this is not true. Illegal immigration is a serious problem and continually gets mixed in with legal immigration, by it's supporters. Going back 40+ years Congress has consistently produced poor immigration policy. The one thread through all of these years has been Sen. Edward Kennedy. The most egregious piece of legislation was the 1986 Immigration Act which, virtually everyone agrees, had exasperated the illegal immigration problem. Then, in 2006, Congress created the so called comprehensive immigration legislation, which was almost identical to the 1986 legislation. Lessons learned...not at all.

The costs of the 20 million illegal are astronomical and have dire consequences associated with them, ie, we are becoming a bilingual country (in spite of the fact that no country has successfully accomplished this in the past), our schools are innundated with children of illegals (one needs to only look at one statistic ESL, if that is over 1% you are looking at an underperforming school and your child will not get the education you think he/she should, go to any hospital and you will see the overwhelming number of non English speaking patients (likely illegals not paying for the services), with multiple children being groomed for your school system as ESL's because the language at home is not English.

All of this was created, over the past 40+ years by a country that did not have the will to address the problem that it's Congress was creating.

If every illegal was magically sent back to their point of origin, our borders were sealed and laws enforced we would not miss a beat as a nation.

There are already laws in place to control immigration. These laws need to be enforced and new ones need to be passed to update all of the current new problems. Illegal immigration needs to be eliminated but legal immigration needs to continue. One problem we have is that United States citizens just do not want to do the kind of jobs the illegals are doing. I'm talking about field labor and housekeeping and nannny and landscaping and other manual labor jobs. I do not consider construction a given for illegals as there are a lot of construction workers that are United States citizens and they would be more than willing to take these jobs. Contacting your senators and representatives would be a good start, however; I don't actually think it would be of any use unless a nation wide campaign was organized. What we need is a leader to take a stand on this problem. I haven't heard much from any of the current candidates about the problem. Where are the Civil Rights activists of the 60's? Bring them back and maybe something would be done. The generation today that could be activists unfortunately is all about itself and couldn't care less about immigration as long as it doesn't affect them adversely. Immigration is a huge problem that is almost insurmountable and will not be solved easily or in the near future. Right now the only thing we can do is write the Senators and Representatives who by the way are very busy with an election. Maybe afterwards.

Let's look at the other side of the coin for a moment: How about learning how to write and talk properly so you can get a better job "that THESE people are taking away from you". If you filled out an application at my business -- written the way most of these statements read -- you'd be out the door before even being given a chance to work. Ignorance often leads to anger. I don't see anyone with a modicum (if anyone understands the term) of intelligence responding to these statements. Yes, I have more than a modicum, and yes, I am responding because some, if not most of these comments sound like sour grapes. I studied and learned and applied myself instead of crying about my life or acting like "poor, poor me". Get off your duff, get educated -- and NO, this does not always mean college, as I am sure someone will feel "I wasn't lucky enough to get an education". BS, look around you, it may come as a surprise to you: Lack of knowledge and ignorance are no longer an excuse in this world.

Besides...without "THESE" people, most service industries would need to close down or reduce services substantially. I don't see many Americans working at McDonalds, Burgerking, Jack in the box, Marriott Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Sushi restaurants, ad nauseam. I don't see many Americans picking fruit or any harvest for that matter...it's let "THEM" do it, let "THEM" clean, scrub, polish and sweep our homes, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, etc. Come on folks, I would be willing to bet nobody feels as strong a love for the USA as I do... that's because I HAVE BEEN ELSEWHERE and therefore appreciate this country and would give all for it. It absolutely AMAZES me that people have such a limited understanding of an issue to which they have such emotional reactions. Emotional reactions so heated that "Send them Home" is such a common theme.

The United States government has KNOWLY allowed it's border with Mexico to remain a joke. Then again our border with Canada is not exactly an armed camp is it?

Imagine you are from somewhere below the Rio-Grande and you live in absolute squalor, your children have no real chance at an education and the job market is a complete joke. Now to change all this all you have to do is get a few hundred miles north. While watching your children grow up in slums and knowing if something doesn't change they will have no chance at life. When you decide to sneak into the country is your first reaction: "Oh no, I'd like to give my family some kind of future but gosh darnit that would violate United States law. Honey tell the kids they'll just have to get over it."

Arrest employers? Why not arrest the INS? or maybe some ICE agents for doing such a suckful job at kicking these heathens out? So the government throws open the doors and then blames business that we can't strap em up to lie detectors and get them to admit their less than human status.

If they are only doing the jobs that Americans won't do then why don't we pass a law limiting illegals to only working in those industries. It seems to me that nobody complained about latino laborers when they were primarily working in the agriculture industry, in recent years they have started branching out into other industries ( construction,painting, commercial fishing among others ) that used to pay living wages but have been undercut by a flood of cheap latino labor. Its not Americans fault that Latin America has never developed their economies so that a middle class can exist there, in the long run, if we continue to allow cheap labor to win out, our economies will look just like theirs, with only lords and serfs.

Those parents paid for their kids education in catholic-aka-parochial school for 8 years each. my grandma 1 worked as a housekeeper at a city-county hospital, my grandma 2 was hired by the US POST OFFICE. Grandma 2 was a widowed mother aka singLe mother and took no AFDC, she worked 12 hour shifts sorting your mail with 4 teens at home. My aunt had a child out-of-wedlock as a result of a criminal act against her so I was told--she kept custody, her sister providing homemaker, childcare support & other support--my aunt financially supporting 3 people at a time when unwed mothers were ostrasized. MY COUSINS WORKED MANY DIFFERENT ENTRY-LEVEL JOBS. In a country that has thrived in it's 'laws' for it's own government to turn on itself and allow a mass invasion of over 12 million foreigners with no allegiance to this country is absolute insanity!!We have our own poor and indigent that we make no efforts to care for some mentally ill and simply elderly and forgotten about we pass on the streets as if they are not there. My son tried to get a job this last summer working in landscaping. He is a 16 year old with good grades and a strong work ethic who wants to work. The company that we talked to told him that they would not hire him because they would have to get insurance, pay SS and Medicare, and pay him minimum wage. All of this they did not have to do using illegal immigrants and paying cash each week. Bush says the illegals do the work that Americans are not willing to do, so we need them. That is "CRAP". IT is time to restore the work advantages to our own and our own kids and stop giving everything away and hurting our own.

you guys are all right, we should send all inmigrants back to their country if they are here illegal. i don't know how much you know about the Emergency Medicaid for illegal but i will tell you a little bit. if an illegal has an emergency and it is take to the hospital and spend 24 hours as inpatient then the state will reemborse the hospital all the expenses...so this mean that the pt bill will be write-off(free of charges); on the other hand if a legal alien go to the same hospital with the same emergency this legal alien will have to pay for all the expenses because the same law won't apply for legal alien. what do you guys think about this? do you think that this is fair?

In any other country they would be deported immediately not given sanctuary, jobs, housing, benefits, medical care,food stamps and an education to boot! Illegal is illegal. Enough said. The American taxpayer can not afford to support ALL OF MEXICO and bail out every other country out of its natural disasters! We are trillions of dollars in debt! We have very little work and decent jobs are very hard to come by. College is extremely expensive, so there goes bettering yourself unless you live in California and are Filipino or Mexican; then you go to college for FREE. Why someone hasn't pressed a lawsuit about that discriminating piece of legislature is beyond me! Probably because it discriminates against whites, and that double stand is PC in the United States of America! If the movie stars, athletes who make millions, singers and songwriters and wealthy politicians feel sorry for all these third worlders, then let them give those people their OWN MONEY out of their OWN POCKETS and leave the United States taxpayer out of their cries for sympathy. I can't even get a job out west because of the illegals and those who don't speak English. I have my BS, MA and teacher's certification, but I am supposed to get another certification to teach English Language Learners! Do I want to pay for those expensive college classes or take my valuable time to do it because they don't know our language? That's a big NO! Most teachers do not want to either! But we have no choice because the Mexicans invaded the west and are working their way across the US. Why is the burden to learn English put onto the teacher's shoulders? I speak English fine. It's my native tongue. I have my BS and MA in English! Why isn't the burden put on their shoulders to learn our language? Why shouldn't they have to take the time to do it and pay for their classes themselves? Immigrants have always had to learn the language before. But now, it's all about us converting to accomodate the Mexicans -- er, Hispanics. One must be PC. Teachers are even supposed to change the curriculum to suit them. It's insane! This country is completely screwed up! Shall we just hand over the US to Mexico now or wait for a decade or two until the baby boomers all have Alzheimer's and can't remember who runs this country? Our politicians are completely bought off by whomever has the big bucks. They will sell out the American people to the highest bidder and to make themselves wealthier every chance they get. Who cares about all of us who live here and have to bare the consequences of their greed? Cheap imported dangerous goods and now cheap imported labor. It will be the ruin of the American people. Then we can all go on welfare and sponge off the illegals. That's the future we're headed for! Keep printing off the dollars with nothing to back it up since we're off the gold standard. Inflation goes up. The Bushies & Co. get richer while they hike up the gas prices, and no one does anything to get alternative fuels out there! Let's get people back to work with good jobs. Let's go back to the way it used to be, where people lived together who were alike and had common backgrounds. We're being forced into too much diversity, too much multiculturalism. If we're honest about it, none of us want that. Thanks for screwing up the America I grew up in. I certainly don't want my daughter living in the US of the future and neither do I. And if anyone speaks up, you'll be labeled a "racist." Well what about the double standard that exists discriminating against whites? What about the quotas for admittance to medical schools? And quotas for government jobs? Equal rights means equal rights, no bias and favoritism for color of skin included. Just like illegal means illegal even if your skin is dark and you speak Spanish. Enough of this nonsense already. It will be much cheaper not to have the burden on our society which we can not afford. And then some jobs will be available for citizens. The myth that illegals do the work Americans don't want to is a pile of cow manure. They hold many high positions and good paying jobs or they gain amnesty and hold those positions afterwards. This habit of giving amnesty to those who come here illegally only encourage more of them to do the same thing because they know the US government won't do anything to them! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. It's like dealing with a child. If there aren't any consequences, they're going to do it! And these are not children but grown adults who have no regard for our laws. They do not deserve to be rewarded and ruin our economic structure, laws, and culture as it exists. And people must make a stand and speak up, or we will continually be walked all over in the future as we have been in the past and present. Stop the cycle of abuse against the people of our nation!

I worked my way through college performing jobs such as waitressing, child care, cashier, etc. All those jobs Americans supposedly do not want to do! I see American citizens doing those jobs day in and day out. It is the government's myth that American citizens won't do those jobs. They planted that in our heads, so we wouldn't raise a protest against illegals. They try to play the sympathy card when we want illegals deported. They play that card all the time while they waste tax payer money on illegals and every other country that needs help or to wage war and kill our young children over their claim to oil, so they get richer. It's all a big scam, and our politicians are traitors to the American people. They need to be ousted and fast before they do anymore damage. Why is fat, old scum bag Kennedy spending a life time in the senate? He killed a woman drunk driving and didn't even dive in to save her while she drown! He married a woman half his age. And every American is supposed to live by his rules over even pay attention to what he has to say? Give me a break. These politicians are totally corrupt. They have so many skeletons in their closets, the doors can't even stay shut! They're just a bunch of rich, old dirt bags who don't deserve to be in office or anywhere else decent human beings exist. Send them off to Mexico to live since they love the illegals so much! They can have them serve them there. Let's kick them all out one way or another. He'll sink us even further as he downed five planes while in the military. The people need to join together to get rid of this political vermin in office. People on welfare will be forced to do whatever jobs they have to do if those jobs are available. I don't know where you people live, but I see white American citizens working hard day in and out at jobs illegals are said to do -- nannying, waitressing, working at fast food joints, cashiering at grocery stores, landscaping, construction (they're sure taking over there! In fact, I have done plenty of this type of work myself while working my way through college. I see a huge senior population out working hard supplementing social security and pensions, particularly since so many are hard pressed to pay for prescription drugs and health care. We're so overburdened with paying for illegals, our gov't doesn't see fit to take care of our elderly population as usual. Well, the elderly aren't making the rich richer, the illegals are with their cheap, imported labor; similar to the cheap imports that ruined our manufacturing industry decades back. See what's going to happen again? We saw it then, and we see it coming now. But let's listen to the PC media and PC politicians and give into the sympathy card. Dumb, dumb, dumb. There aren't any other words for it except maybe stupid and idiotic, among others of the same nature. I see Americans show up for work, which I can't always say about illegals, not mouth off to their superiors and do the job right, not using the excuse they didn't understand or try to play the race card to get away with performance on the job or in the classroom. Secondary education has taken a dive because of second language learners. There's no denying this. Our economic system can not afford the burden of all these people. I know this first hand because I have taught in the classroom in a PC area of the nation. Standards have changed, and we are expected to cator to the the Latino population. Teachers are burdened with taking more expensive college courses focusing on the second language learner. In CA and other western states it is mandatory to get an extra certificate to teach. Talk about expensive and time consuming! And talk about putting the burden of learning the language on the wrong shoulders! Pretty twisted logic. They should be taking the extra classes and paying NOT ME or any other teacher who knows the language. I just wonder when more teachers will get fed up with this rididulousness. And as for Edward Gelernter, Bellevue, WA comments, I believe someone thinks way too much of himself. I have my BS, MA and teacher's certification, and I teach English. And I would never judge the sincerity, work ethics or intelligence of those who don't spell correctly or punctuate correctly. Many great thinkers weren't good spellers nor did they do well in school. Einstein and many others were kicked out or dropped out. Edward needs to learn some lessons himself before he shoots off him big mouth. New discoveries are made daily by archeologists, and human beings do not even remotely understand our entire history. Perhaps we never will. So any sympathy cards really need to wait until one day maybe we know the real story unequivocably. The real native americans may have come across Russian and may be of Asian or Siberian descent. As for Americans not knowing where the USA is on a map, I find that statement very unlikely. Perhaps if this person is a new citizen of this country that might be the case, but I would like to see documented evidence that a natural born citizen of this country could not point out the United States of America. There are ignorent people out there, but that's too much to believe. And it only points to the fact that we need a better educational system. One that isn't burden with a massive influx of second language learners who bring the learning level and capacity down in the classroom. Too much emphasis is on the second language learner these days and too much money is spent on it rather than on academics! I know. I am a teacher in secondary education. And as for Americans not getting a degree, well, most can't afford it. However, if you are of Mexican descent or Filipino, I can tell you you will get a free college education in CA! Talk about discrimination. And you wonder why there is so much anger? Someone should press a lawsuit about that. I wish I was an attorney. I would have fun in today's world. It's very blatant and yet no one stands up to this discrimination against whites. Everyone is afraid o being labeled "racist" or some such thing. Well, too bad. There are worse things in life. And that's just how they get away with their discrimination, by labeling anyone who speaks out about it a "racist." The old put the person in the right on the defensive tactic by putting them down and diverting the attention away from the topic and the double standard of it all. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. The sympathy card for illegals has been played out to the max. It's time to end it. Stop putting the Americans on the defensive to manipulate the situation and get your way because you want cheap, imported, ILLEGAL labor. It's criminal and should be prosecuted. No more discussion about it. If people want jobs to be filled, then they need to pay a decent wage. Why anyone would hire someone who is illegal is beyond me. Why would you want someone cleaning your house and/or caring for your child who can barely speak English (nice example for the child) and could commit a crime and run off to Mexico? Absolutely insane! Nice example for your kids and great parenting by risking their lives and safety to a could-be pedophile! And why should the rest of us Americans have to live by those insane people's rules and run the risk of losing jobs, paying for those illegals healthcare, education, etc. and the crime risk it is for the public? Just because those wealthy people want cheap labor? Should the rest of us have to pay for their greed? That's what is happening. The rich are saving on labor and putting the burden of these illegals they employ on the tax payer. Who pays for these illegals? Us. And meanwhile, they take away the tax money that could be spent on our elderly parents, ourselves, our children's healthcare and education. No one is lazy. That's a tactic to put people down and put them on the defensive. That's worn out and old. It doesn't work anymore. These people just want to get the cheap labor, so they can bring down the wages. They're greedy people. They're out for themselves. And they put everyone at risk because of their greed. There's no excuse for it. They're self-centered traitors to the American people. They don't care about the good of this country and the people. They care only for themselves at the expense of everyone else. They should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Our officials are supposed to uphold the law, yet they don't. So they should lose their jobs and hire people who will uphold the laws of this country! This is ridiculous that people even have to argue over this. They came here illegally. Those who hire them or shelter them should be prosecuted. That will stop those actions very quickly. And they'll stop coming if they are not rewarded. Don't offer amnesty. Kick them out! Terrorists and criminals come through our border as surely as job seekers do. A Jose Padillo was convicted of terrorism. Do you think he was born here? He is considered a citizen, probably via amnesty. Thanks to our government. And there are plenty of examples of illegals committing violent crimes such as murder and rape, etc. and then running across the border to Mexico to get away with it. It's in the news all the time although you have to search the Internet to find out the real extent of what's going on. The national TV news doesn't broadcast the REAL STORY. Do an Internet search and local news will give you the scoop on the what's really happening. Look at the marine who killed the pregnant marine! He's of Mexican descent, and after killing her, burning her, and burying her in his backyard, he ran across the border to Mexico to get away with his crime! And now Mexico won't give him back to face the penalty for his crime unless the US doesn't seek the death penalty. So we have to house, feed, give medical care and clothe this murdering *sshole for life at the tax payers expense because Mexico says so! What about the victim of the crime? The pregnant girl, who accused this creep of rape, and nothing was done about it -- what about her? She lost her life because of him! But let's play the sympathy card for him because he's Hispanic. Give me a break! Plenty of this goes on but doesn't get national attention. Pedophiles and all sorts of disgusting human waste come across our border. Do we want all of Mexico's rejects? We have enough of our own criminals to deal with. 30% of federal prisoners are illegal, and tax payers pay $3.3 million PER DAY to house these criminals. These statistics were on Lou Dobbs on CNN. Couldn't we use that money for something else like educating our children properly, so maybe they will have a better future? Perhaps we could use that money, so other children (like whites) could get free college educations, like Mexicans and Filipinos do in California. Let's reward our own children for a change. Let's play our own sympathy card. And if the stars and wealthy famous people want to cry about all these third worlders, then let them open their own pocket books and give their salaries to those less fortunate. They certainly could give up their over priced Hollywood mansions and private jets and 5 dozens homes abroad, I'm sure, and they'd survive just fine without them, making millions more every day. Let's feel sorry for ourselves for a change and turn a blind eye to all these other people. We can't afford to pay for the world's problems. We have enough of our own with corrupt politicians in office bringing this country into unbelievable amounts of debt. Maybe China will buy up everything in the US, and we'll be communists speaking Chinese! How would the Latinos like that! The Chinese are not concerned about being politically correct from what I read in news articles. No sympathy card will go over big with them. Oh well, I guess we can all sit back passively like we've done for decades and generations and watch how much more of a mess our lifetime politicians will get this country into. When will Kennedy die? How long must we suffer his insanity? They never retire. We have to wait until they die to get rid of them. I suspect these elections must be rigged. We all know the mafia's involved with the government and is a part of it. And I'm sure the mafia and our lying gov't wouldn't think twice about rigging elections. There should be a limit on how long they can weild their corruption. Why isn't there? And yet he's getting tons of votes. It doesn't add up to me. There's got to be some major playing with the computers going on. There's no other answers for it, and it would be easy to do. And I don't think any of them have consciences anyway, so they wouldn't blink an eye about doing it. How do these morons get elected anyway if not for vote fixing? Those people in Iraq did nothing to any of us here in the USA. We all know that. Don't let our politicians fool you. And as for spelling, I wouldn't go bragging about your spelling. I see numerous spelling and punctuation errors. The fact is no one wants people here who are here illegal. It is illegal. Get it? That means AGAINST THE LAW! And people who come here illegally should be prosecuted and deported. They are committing a criminal offense by coming here without proper paperwork. Can you understand that? I have been around many Mexicans, and I have heard what they have to say about their own invasion of the USA. For one thing, the Mexicans and So. Americans have no right to be in our society as we know it. Their is no entitlement because they live in Central and So. American that they were here first. We're not little children any longer where we are going to argue, I was here first! Central America and So. America does not mean No. America. And it does not mean that Mexicans can come into our country now after our ancestors have build it up to what it is now and take it over! That's ludicrous! When Mexicans gloat about invading the USA, which I have heard many do on several occasions, and state they are going to take back the western states, which they feel have been taken from them, then I say that anyone who states we should send our military away from Iraq to protect and defend our Mexican border is not a nazi or anything of the sort, as one unintelligent writer stated. In fact, many people feel our government should do that, and none of them are nazis or skinheads but well educated people who want to keep our country, culture, jobs, and economic system from being raped by people who can not build up their own country, but instead plague us in massive numbers with the fact they are not intelligent enough or resourceful enough to stay in their own country and vie for a better system and make it work! These people are leeches on our society and will bring us down. It has already been happening. And the comparison to the Jews and nazism is not an apt comparison. As previous writers have written, statements like that just try to divert people's attention from the facts at hand and make anyone who wants to protect us from invaders seem as the "bad guy." That tactic is far from working on people in this country these days. We are sick of hearing the PC garbage. Illegal is illegal, and they have no right to be here, and they have no right to tax payers' money or an education here or medical benefits, to a job, food stamps or a place to live! There should be no argument over it. And our government should be enforcing the laws of our country rather than turning a blind eye. McCain and Hillary are even courting the illegals in their campaigning. I hope no one votes for them! McCain has already let in millions of illegals and voted in favor of them time and again over all the years he has been in the senate. He's done enough damage. Why Arizona keeps him in office is beyond me. Of course, he's well connected with the mafia and has a rich daddy-in-law. Illegals are an economic strain on the tax payer and the future welfare of our country. The State of Arizona is evidence of that. It has an $800 million budget deficit this year. And the school system is in the hole by the millions also. That shows you what happens when you harbor illegals. And he wants to give them all amnesty!! I hope no one votes for him. Has no one learned from what's happened in the past by giving them amnesty? They keep coming! It encourages them. Soon all of Mexico will be here bloodsucking until there's nothing left! The facts are in the statistics. There is no changing them. The solution is to get rid of the illegal aliens. Limit how many can come into our country and limit the number of particular groups of people. We've had enough of the Hispanics for a while. Let others have a chance to come here instead, people who want to learn our language or already know it. Let some educated people in instead of unskilled labor who we are forced to cator to and spend our tax money teaching them English and giving them a free ride. Secure our border, so they can't come back. Post our military to stop them from coming. They will know we are serious then. We don't owe Mexicans anything. We are not obligated to share or give them anything. They can fend for themselves and build up their own country. Stop listening to the sympathy garbage and racial insults and work towards other solutions to build up our energy independence and keep our jobs in the US. If companies don't want to stay in the US, then the government needs to penalize them somehow by either not allowing them to bring their products into the US or put a huge tariff on imports. That should take care of the problem. In fact, I think all imports should be banned, and our country could become completely independent of all foreign countries and people. Our safety won't be at risk with tainted toys or food. And our jobs won't be at risk. Everyone will be employed, and our economy will be booming once again. But our corporations want globalization, so they can have world wide consumers because they are greedy. And the only way to stop that is to stop those greedy people from succeeding. Prosecute people and don't let them bring their products into this country even if they are considered an American company with factories overseas. There is no excuse. If they want our money, then they have to employ us here in the USA! If the politicians are in their hands and won't listen, then it is time for a revolution. That will get people's attention and prove we are serious. Enough of this pussy footing around and playing these silly talk talk games. The time for action is now!

First of all, I never said my spelling or punctuation was perfect, I merely stated that it is more accurate than the person I was referring to. and second, you don't have to translate anything to spanish for me because for your information, I'm not an "illegal" that doesn't know or understand english. What prompted me to reply to that person's comment was how blatantly racist it was. You don't like "illegals" here and I don't like racist people, and we both have a right to be angry about it. And no, I am not playing the race card. Go back and read most of the comments in this article and it's there in black and white writing. They are oozing with racist undertones. According to many of the people writing comments, hispanics are just a bunch of low-life, leeching, criminal servants that pay no taxes whatsoever and just keep taking from the American folks. I'm sorry if you don't like it, but I take offense to that. It makes me angry! I'm pretty sure you'd be upset if people were making comments like that about whatever your race is. Fact is, most "illegals" are decent, hard working human beings that are just trying to survive for themselves and their families. And they do pay taxes. What do you think, that when they go to wal-mart they're asked if they're legal or illegal and if illegal they don't have to pay taxes? Sure, they're not income or ss taxes but they're taxes. Of course I don't expect you to care about these people because like most in this country you take everything for granted and could care less about anyone else and what they have to do to survive. And that's all these people are trying to do, SURVIVE, not take over the US or deplete all our resources such as medical or welfare. They come here illegaly because they're in a hopelessly desperate situation in their home country and need to survive at whatever cost. I don't think they'd be here dealing with all the hatred against them if things were not dire in their country. But of course, that's not your problem right?, you just want them out. I just hope for the sake of all of us as a country, that we're never in the situation they're in, where we have to turn to other countries for help, because no one's gonna want to help our arrogant, self-centered and racist citizens.

Obama plan to get rid of all the illegals is to make them all LEGAL! LOL Pelosi/Reid and Obama are all poised to grant all illegals a Green Card making them legal for jobs and benefits, but not the right to vote yet. But they can change that too. LOL So employers will not have to wait long for this as it will happen in 2009. This will create such a massive pool of workers that this nation has ever seen before. And lest we not forget that each green card holder can bring into this country their family members with that little green card that is no longer green in color! Majority of these aliens are very productive, kind, members of our communities. they would make much better citizens then the many citizens that join gangs, rob and rape americans.
